Mrs. Ivy May Sidener, 87, died at 2:10 p.m. Wednesday in the Carmen Nursing Home here. Mrs. Sidener was a member of the First Baptist Church and DAR. She was born in Montgomery County, June 3, 1880, daughter of Curtis and Rebecca (Clark) Edwards. Surviving are a son, WIlliam C of Indianapolis; two sisters, Mrs. Cuba Brin Aso of 29 Palms, Calif and Mrs. Hattie Patton of New RIchmond., a brother Charles Edwards of Cherry Grove and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter A in 1961 and a brother. Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Milo Riggs officiating. Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 1 p.m. Friday.
